Latest Update

Following the latest announcement from the Government, the lockdown will remain in pace for another few weeks. As soon as we receive guidance on the return to school we will communicate this to you.

We appreciate all the work that the children are doing. It is important that you check over it regularly and remind the children to check their activities section of Seesaw each day before starting any work.

Remote learning can be challenging so please do not allow it to cause stress in the house. If your child is experiencing difficulty, please let their teacher know. Everyone’s priority is to stay safe, healthy and look after their wellbeing. Please ensure that they continue to do a bit of work each day. It is recommended that children maintain a routine so there will be an easier transition back to school.

Teachers will be in contact during the week to see how everyone is doing.

We have a dedicated page on the school website with links to other educational websites and useful videos to help with remote learning https://www.lankillns.ie/remote-learning .

Please check the Government’s dedicated webpage for updates relating to school with resources and information on COVID-19, returning to school and remote learning https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/a04fc-advice-for-students-and-their-families/#

Enrolment for September 2021 is now open. Please read the schools Admissions Policy on the School Policy section of the website https://www.lankillns.ie/school-policies . Enrolment forms can be downloaded from this section. Alternatively, send the school an email (info@lankillns.ie) and we will send an enrolment form and information pack in the post.

Please inform anyone who may be interested in enrolling their child in our school.

We will keep you informed of any further developments we receive from the Department.

Please stay safe.

Ciarán, Triona, Maudy, Dalva, Audrey & James.
