Lankill National School is situated in the heart of Mayo, just five kilometres from Westport. We are a rural school providing primary school education to a school population of 64 pupils and have 3 mainstream class teachers, 1 Special Ed Teacher, an SNA, a shared secretary and a part-time caretaker.

 

A whole school evaluation was carried out  on our school in April 2015 and we were very happy with the report of the inspectorate. They praised our school for the high academic standards, the excellent condition of the school buildings, the strong links with community and the caring approach shown by all staff towards pupils.
