Lankill National School is situated in the heart of Mayo, just five kilometres from Westport. We are a rural school providing primary school education to a school population of 66 pupils. We have 3 mainstream class teachers, 1 Special Education Teacher, an Special Needs Assistant, a part-time secretary and a part-time caretaker.

 

A whole school evaluation was carried out on our school in April 2015 and we were very happy with the report of the inspectorate. They praised our school for the high academic standards, the excellent condition of the school buildings, the strong links with community and the caring approach shown by all staff towards pupils.
