Lankill Girls Spar Cup West Mayo Champions 2025

Our girls team won the West Division small schools category in the Spar Cup today. They played fantastic football throughout the day, winning all their matches. We go forward to the county finals to be played in Milebush in April.

Lankill boys took part in the FAI Spar Cup yesterday. They played some fantastic football, winning 2 of their 3 games. They were unlucky against a very strong Carrowholly team. Thanks to Pat Morrison for giving his time to coach and manage the boys and girls teams.

Mini 7s Champions West Division 2024/2025

A massive congratulations to our Mini 7s girls team who won the West Mayo Division today, for the very first time, in sunny Kilmeena. They played brilliant football throughout and had to rely on a full squad of players from 3rd to 5th class. Well done girls. We are so proud.

Lankill Senior Room 'Object of My Affection' Exhibition at Custom House Studios and Gallery

Our Senior Room's Exhibition entitled 'The Object of My Affection' is now on display in the Custom House Studios and Gallery as part of Westival - Westport Music & Arts Festival. We are very proud of their work, which includes sensory poems, descriptive texts and historical accounts of their objects. An audio account of each object is available to listen to at the studio. Thanks to Sarah Byrne, Geraldine Coakley, Sally-Anne, Linda and Mary-Lou McCarthy for giving the kids the opportunity to become 'Exhibited Artists'.
